DefenAge's exfoliation solution is the 2-Minute Reveal Masque, part of all our kits. It will take only 2 minutes, once or twice a week.

Yes, you can! This is a unique property of defensin-molecules, our core anti-aging technology. Due to an entirely different mechanism of action, DefenAge can be combined with almost any other skincare products and ingredients, including Retin-A and retinols, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and growth factors. The rule is simple: layer all other products in your skincare routine before layering DefenAge's Step 2 and 3.

The rule is simple: Apply Step 2 and Step 3 at the very end! DefenAge's Step 2 and 3 should be the last steps in your skincare routine; only sunscreen and makeup should be layered on top of our bioserum in the morning and nothing at night. This is the order for using the products that we recommend: STEP 1 - Cleansing: Facial cleanser, morning and evening. Please use any cleanser you like or DefenAge's 1-Step Multi-Cleanse. Exfoliate the skin after cleansinig with 2-Minute Reveal Masque once or twice a week. "ANYTHING ELSE" STEP: Any other skincare products that you would like to use, including vitamin C, Retin A/retinols etc. STEP 2 - Hydration: FACE: 24/7 Barrier Balance Cream on the face, except the skin around eyes; morning and evening. EYES: 3D Eye Radiance Cream for the skin around eyes; morning and evening. NECK: 6-Week Perfection Neck Tightening Cream for the skin on the neck; morning and evening. STEP 3 - New Skin: 8-in-1 BioSerum Anti-Aging Cream on the entire face including the skin around eyes and on the neck; morning and evening. SUNSCREN and MAKEUP in the morning.

Please use the exact quantity of the defensin products as we recommend: one pump per area (one pump rule). Do not overdose, more is not better. Our formulas are very well balanced and refined on concentrations of defensins and other ingredients to deliver results. USE: 24/7 Barrier Balance Cream: ONE (up to two) pumps on the face. 3D Eye Radiance Cream: ONE pump for both eyes. 6-Week Perfection Neck Tightening Cream: ONE pump on the neck and décolleté. 8-in-1 BioSerum: ONE pump on the face and ONE pump on the neck and décolleté.

In addition to stimulating new skin, defensins have an extra beneficial action to "close gaps" between cells on the surface of our skin. It means that defensins prevent water loss from the skin. The 8-in-1 BioSerum contains the highest concentration of defensins, meaning that once the serum is applied, penetration into the skin surface other products will be compromised (if "nothing/water goes out" - then "nothing is goes in"). This is a unique property of defensin molecules, therefore we always advise layering the 8-in-1 BioSerum as the last step of the skincare regimen, only sunscreen and makeup (if any) is recommended to be applied on top of the 8-in-1 BioSerum in the morning and nothing layered on top at night.  

We built our formulas with clean beauty in mind, our formulas are clean and do not contain most common harmful or questionable ingredients. In addition, please know that our formulas do not contain retinols. Unfortunately, we do not have formal clinical studies relating to safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding, therefore, before you start using DefenAge, we advise to consult the ingredient list with your OBGYN to be double sure. Yes it is. The 8-in-1 BioSerum is safe for acne prone skin, our bio serum underwent multiple safety studies that returned an outstanding safety profile. Please be sure that you use the exact quantity of the product that we recommended, and do not exceed it: 1 pump of the bio serum for entire face and 1 pump on the neck.

On the top of the bottles, there are directions in black lettering. Remove the white plug from the nozzle, hold the base of the bottle, then twist the top piece in a clockwise motion to open. The product should start dispensing after a few pumps.
