DefenAge follows a specific application order that differs from conventional skincare routines — and understanding why makes all the difference in results.

Step 1 — Cleanse
Cleanse morning and evening with your preferred cleanser or DefenAge's 1-Step Multi-Cleanse. Once or twice a week, follow cleansing with the 2-Minute Reveal Masque to exfoliate.

Step 2 — Any Other Products
If you use other skincare products — vitamin C, retinols, hyaluronic acid, or similar — apply them here, before DefenAge's Step 3 and Step 4.

Step 3 — Hydrate
Apply the 24/7 Barrier Balance Cream to the face, the 3D Eye Radiance Cream around the eyes, and the 6-Week Perfection Neck Tightening Cream to the neck. Wait 30 seconds.

Step 4 — BioSerum Last
Apply the 8-in-1 BioSerum over the entire face, eyes, and neck as the final skincare step. In the morning, sunscreen and makeup can be applied on top. At night, nothing should be layered over the BioSerum.

Why does the BioSerum go on last?
The 8-in-1 BioSerum contains the highest concentration of defensin molecules in any DefenAge formula.
